The general appearance is ok, the base plate is marked with small dents and brassing. The top plate has light marks but is presentable. The shutter does not fire. Just occasionally, it will release. It has been unused for at least ten years, the LCD works ok and there are other usable parts. This item may need an overhaul to work. Sold as parts or repair only.

My favourite shooter, bought this a year ago off ebay Germany, the previous owner claimed he'd just had it serviced, which I beleave because everthing works perfectly the light metre is spot on and all the shutter speeds fire at the correct speeds. I also got the prism replaced so now the range finder is easy to read too. The vertical alignment of the rangefinder does need adjustment, to match the horizontal which is adjusted perfectly because i have taken very low light shots which have been in focus. This can be done with a lot of patiance and a miniture screwdriver. As you can see by the pictures it has quite a bit of brassing but there is no real damage, I'm only selling because I'm saving for an M6. The camera is used, but in good working condition. The camera winds on well. The shutter is snappy. All shutter speeds work correctly. The light meter is still responsive. The camera lens mount is Pentax M42 Universal Screw Thread fitting. A wide variety of good lenses can be fitted for this camera. The camera comes complete with a Helios 44M 4 2/58 lens. Canon 310xl Super 8 Film Camera (fully Working)

Canon 310XL Film Camera

You are bidding on the camera and hand tie only. The camera is in excellent mechanical condition.

I have run a film through the camera and developed the film and I can confirm that the film camera is in perfect working order. The motor works well, pulling the film through without a problem. This camera works perfectly with Kodaks new 100D film stock! The manual zoom is good and the electronic zoom works no problem with a nice slow motion (remember on this model of Canon the electronic zoom only works when the film triger is depressed). The camera operates at 1 and 18 fps without fault. The light meter works as it should. The focus is nice and smooth and the viewfinder is nice and clear. The film and battery compartments are lovely and clean. The lens is in excellent condition.

The only problem with the camera (a problem I actually missed) is that there is a crack that runs from the handle and up the side of the camera body. It's a large crack but quite frankly I actually missed it whilst out filming with it. Mechanically it's one of the best 310XL's I've ever tested. The crack no way impairs the functionality of the camera and the images I got from it were great. Perhaps to be on the safe side I would put some electrical tape over the crack so nothing accidentally snags on it. However if you're after a good fully working camera at an excellent price tag this one is for you!

Some helpful film tips!

My first tip to you is always use fresh batteries in the camera as it takes a lot of power to pull the film stock through! If you are using old batteries you might find the camera pulls through the film slower than it should! You don't want this because the images will be exposed at the wrong speed!

My second tip is bang your film cartridge before using it! New film stock such as Kodak 100D is wound in the cartridge much tighter than the old film stocks back in the 70's. This can cause problems in a lot of super 8 cameras making them prone to jamming. I myself learnt this the hard way by jamming my very expensive Nizo Professional last year. For this reason I always bang my super 8 film cartridge against a hard surface before use. Bang it until you hear the film loosen up inside. This will help prevent future jams and insure your camera has a long and healthy life. It also helps your batteries last longer as the motor hasn't got as much work to do.

I follow the above tips every time I shoot super 8 and I recommend you do too!

Please remember that although I have fully tested the camera to the best of my ability it is difficult for me to guarantee the longevity of a camera that was made decades ago. For this reason I offer no returns. However I am an honest seller and would not sell anything that I myself would not be happy to receive. This Lens is in Very Good condition. Lens those show some wear around aperture barrel, although other then that to be honest its actually in good cosmetic condition overall.. Please look at pictures for confirmation of this, this lens would be a 8.5 out of 10.

The optics are internally without any hazing or fungas noticeable scratches,please note there is some dust in the glass but this will not effect quality or performance of this lens. Tested works fine.

Mechanically it is focusing smoothly without slackness or stiffness in the movement, and is stopping down very positively without any oil or previous wear on the aperture blades. Barrel marking are clear and bright.

Offered for auction is this KODAK ADVANTIX C400 APS CAMERA. Not a very old camera as cameras go, but still interesting at twelve years old, because it was introduced at the cusp or climax of the now 'old-fashioned' film-taking camera era. Few people predicted how quickly the new digital system camera would be developed and embraced. Kodak were at the forefront of digital technology leading up to the changeover, but were still producing cameras that would allow them to sell the film that would soon be near-obsolete. To automate and make easier for 'the-man-in-the-street' to operate, they introduced the APS system with none of the film threading problems of 35mm. The whole procedure was automatic, a nice touch being the choosing of the panoramic feature. Although the viewfinder showed 'panoramic' in the viewfinder, the camera, in reality, only shot as normal, but put the information electronically, into the APS cartridge, which told the processing machinery at the printing stage to print as a panoramic. These cameras, as the final phase of the film era, can only become collectable in the near future. This one comes in very good-used condition, with no marks or damage to the body, giving a 'like-new' patina. It is complete with black case and new batteries installed.

The monorail locks and controls all seem fine to me. The lenses look fine, the aperture and shutter mechanism seems to be working perfectly. It’s used but looks to be in good condition with no apparent damage. I don’t use large format myself so please ask if you want me to check anything or need more detailed info or close up pics.

This is for a Zenit EM 35mm SLR Film Camera Moscow Special Edition Soviet RetroClassic Soviet Russian camera. Solid build and design. Built to last. The camera is used, but in good working condition. The camera winds on well. The shutter is snappy. All shutter speeds work correctly. The light meter is still responsive. The camera lens mount is Pentax M42 Universal Screw Thread fitting. A wide range of good lenses can be fitted on this camera. The camera comes complete with Helios 44M 2/58 lens. The focus is smooth. The Aperture blades open and close smoothly. There is no mist or fungus down the barrel. The lens optics are clean and clear and free from any marks or scratches. There is a few very tiny dust particles there, but nothing that would effect the lens performance.

Comes from a no smoking and non pet home.

POLAROID Sun600 LMS Instant Film Camera. Complete with Polaroid Camera soft bag/case with shoulder strapI used this camera a lot in the 1990's but it has not been used for about 10 years. It was working perfectly when last used and has been in it's bag in a cupboard since then, so in theory it should still work perfectly. However I have not tested it and unfortunately I do not have the means to do so.

All its mechanisms seem to work. It is clean and opens and folds down nicely. The film compartment opens perfectly and the eye piece / viewfinder is clean and clear. It has a solid strap on the back.

The bag is a bit dusty but otherwise fine. It has a zip top with the POLAROID logo on the top and a solid shoulder strap.

The robust HARMAN TiTAN camera has been designed in conjunction with, and manufactured in the UK by Walker Cameras who are well known for their range of Titan large format film cameras. The body is made from injection moulded ABS, finished with a very durable non-slip coating. All fittings are made from stainless steel.
