2. Fix two of the adhesive soft wool Velcoins to your filters (one at each end) and attach to the Strobe/Flash.

This method of attachment will securely, safely and quickly fit any of the desired filters to your unit without the

damage that can occur as a result of the sticky by-product from using the alternative method of applying the

Hook Velcoin directly and permanently onto the body of the Strobe/Flash unit itself.

Infrared Filter Ir-780nm To Fit Cokin X Pro Holders

Infrared Filter to fit the Cokin X Pro holder. The filter is made by an independent UK manufacturer. These Infrared filters are suitable for almost all digital cameras including the DSLRs. They can also be used with infrared film that is sensitive to wavelengths exceeding 800nm (nanometres); for example, Efke 820 works well with this filter. These filters are made from a hard acrylic material and are almost totally opaque to visible light. It has deeper IR filtering characteristics compared with Hoya R72 and Wratten 89B and allows transmission of infrared wavelengths of 780nm or longer giving surreal landscapes where green foliage appears very white and blue skies black, thus accentuating clouds. The results are best viewed when converted to monochrome. For digital cameras that have been modified to IR by having the hot filter replaced with a near IR filter, this filter will provide a deeper effect. To test to see if your digital camera is suitable, in a darkened room, switch the camera monitor on and have a TV remote in front of lens. If you see the IR led flash fairly bright when a button is pressed, then your camera has enough sensitivity to IR. If you have a DSLR without a liveview mode, then you will have to take a test shot instead.

Please note that exposures may be quite long, so your camera will need to have a shutter setting that can last up to 1 -120 seconds. A tripod or other support is nearly always required. Transmission properties: At wavelengths shorter than 780nm it transmits less than 0.05%. At 800nm 75%, peaking at 950nm with 90% transmission. Currently, I have IR filters available for 4 different filter holders: Cokin A (66mm square), Cokin P (84mm square), Cokin Z and Lee (both 100mm square).

I have for sale a Brand New and still Sealed Lee Big Stoppper - 10 Stop Long exposure filter

The Big Stopper is a high quality glass ten-stop long exposure filter. It reduces the amount of light entering your lens by ten-stops allowing you to use a much slower shutter speed or wider lens aperture.

By greatly extending exposure times the Big Stopper has the effect of allowing anything that is moving in your image to become blurred or ghost like, for example, clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea. However the effect is not limited to landscapes, the filter can be used on cityscapes to blur people or roads and motorways to blur traffic. The Big Stopper fits in the standard Lee 100mm Filter Holder allowing it to be used on a number of different lenses as well as in conjunction with other filters such as neutral density graduated filters. This is an already a difficult to find product as Lee only releases a few every year. There is currently a long delay in production and many stores have closed their order books so finding one will be even more difficult. Grab it here to avoid dissapoint as you pay on collection. The purpose of the Sky Set is to enhance the colours in the sky, and is particularly useful when a sunrise or sunset hasn’t quite lived up to expectations.The Sunset 2 enhances warm tones, typical of the light at the end of the day, the Sky Blue 3 introduces colour into lifeless skies, while the Coral Stripe boosts a selective area of the frame – usually directly above the horizon.

1x Lee Filters Foundation Kit

The Foundation Kit is at the centre of the LEE Filter holder system and is primarily designed to take standard 100mm filters. The holder is supplied in component form to allow you to construct a filter holder to your individual needs. The holder clips easily onto the Adaptor Ring and can then be rotated to position filters to your exact requirement enabling optimum use of graduated and special effects filters. It allows 1,2,3 filters to be attached to almost every lens on every format camera.

1x Neutral Density Grad SOFT Set Resin Filters (0.3,0.6,0.9)

The Neutral Density Set can be used with both digital and film cameras. The set contains graduated resin filters that enable the photographer to adjust exposure over part of the photograph without effecting colour balance. Exposure can be controlled by 1, 2 or 3 stops. For example, when photographing a landscape in which the sky is much brighter than the foreground, placing the Neutral Density part of the filter onto the sky in the frame will reduce the sky exposure without effecting the foreground. This enable cloud detail to be kept correctly exposed and avoids the “white out” effect caused by exposing for the foreground. 0.3 Neutral Density Graduated Reduces exposure to selected area by 1 stop, without affecting colour balance.

0.6 Neutral Density Graduated Reduces exposure to selected area by 2 stop, without affecting colour balance.

0.9 Neutral Density Graduated Reduces exposure to selected area by 3 stop, without affecting colour balance.

The Lee neutral density graduated filters are valuable filters in landscape photography, enabling the photographers to adjust exposure over part of the photograph without affecting the colour balance. The Lee 0.3 ND grad filter reduces exposure to selected area by 1 stop.

The Lee neutral density SOFT grad filters are suited when there are objects both above and below the horizon (eg. trees, rocks, headland or buildings). The transition in tones from bright to dark should appear very natural when using a soft grad.

This filter is part of the LEE Landscape set. It does not come with pouch.

The LEE Sepia 2 is designed to complement the landscape and gives a deep chocolate colour, which enhances foregrounds of rocks, foliage or fallen leaves. Sepia coloured filters are also designed to give colour photos a warm brown 'turn of the century' nostalgic look.

The graduation from colour to clear combined with the movement of the Lee filter systems allow the positioning of the colour effect on any portion of the photograph. Foreground filters, such as the Sepia 2 grad, are best used in conjunction with a balancing ND grad for the sky area (see sample application below as obtained from the LEE Filters brochure).
